A pioneering medical case of twin pregnancy 34 years old woman who has undergone a liver transplant at a young age reached by the IASO Maternity Hospital Obstetrician – Gynecologist Elias Gatos, Scientific Director of the Assisted Reproduction Unit emBIO. The pregnancy, which was by Caesarean section, gave birth to two healthy girls infants weighing 2,200 grams and 2,100 respectively.
For the first time in Greece, a woman who has undergone a liver transplant becomes mother of twins giving hope and optimism to thousands of women.
